SUMMER FISHING

Summer fishing for Lake Trout, Kokanne Salmon, and Rainbow and Brown Trout in Grand Lake or Lake Granby, Colorado, will be a vacation you will want to make an annual event.  Guided fishing trips in a variety of packages are available.

We supply all the fishing gear, (boat, rods reel, tackle).
 
You bring:
 *Colorado liscense
 * clothes for the weather (remember the weather can change pretty quick up here.)
 *sunscreen
 *sunglasses
 *rain gear
 *lunch and non-alcoholic beverages
 *hat and camera. 

Typical guided trips are 6-8 hours depending on the weather and how the fish are biting.  We will vertically jig Lake Trout over various depths around the lake. This challenging yet very rewarding technique yields the largest fish.

We will lead you to Lake Trout, Kokanee Salmon , Rainbow and Brown Trout for the Colorado fishing trip of a lifetime.

SPRING & FALL FISHING

Colorado weather can be variable during the spring and fall, but there is great fishing during both seasons.  We will work jigs, cast lures and catch Lake Trout, Kokanee Salmon, Rainbow and Brown Trout.

Whether you are bringing a friend, family members or coming solo, your experience with Bernie will be memorable.  

We will meet at the boat ramp at a previously arranged time.  I will supply the fishing gear, you bring lunch, non alcoholic drinks,and personal gear.  We recommend bringing a jacket and gloves in case it gets cool on the water, and sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for the clear days.  Just in case it rains, you will be wise to bring rain gear.  Cameras are recommended so that you have photos of those big ole' trout!

WINTER FISHING

Booking a ski vacation to Winter Park or looking for a little High country weekend excitement?  Ice fishing trips are a great way to break up a ski weekend.

From late December though the latter part of April we have a special opportunity to offer ice fishing trips.

The day starts with a snowmobile ride out on Lake Granby or Grand Lake. We have all the fishing gear, heated tents, tackle and instructions to make the most of your visit to Grand County.

Fishing at Lake Granby, Colorado

Lake Granby, nestled on the western entry of th Rocky Mountain National Park is the second largest lake in Colorado, 86 miles northwest of Denver on Highway 40. Conveniently situated between Winter Park and Grand Lake it is a deep water lake generally less crowded than Grand Lake.
